İBRAHIM ZAMAN

Born in Adapazarı in 1937, İbrahim Zaman became interested in artistic photography in 1959. He was the founding member of the "GRUP 5" and "AFAK" photography clubs in Adapazarı. He received the first award in "Portrait" in Adapazarı in 1963. He opened his first personal exhibition "PIGEONS" in Istanbul in February-1967. 1985 FIAP SILVER MEDAL Award In 1998, within the scope of the 75th Anniversary of the Republic, he organized a photography exhibition and transparent shows with the theme "MY LIFE TURKEY". October 1999 Adana “Golden Boll” Culture and Art Festival was opened with its CANIM TÜRKİYEM Exhibition. In 2001, he received two first prizes in black and white and color printing in the "Bazaar Market" competition of Koç-Allianz. Then, in 2003, he won the first prize in photography in the 11th INEPO international competition and won around 150 awards. A petition was erected, giving its name to the street where he was born, with the name "A VALUE HAS GROWED IN THIS STREET IN ADAPAZARI". “40 Years in Time”, “Time in Turkey”, “Library of Turkish Photographers”, “Fields”, “Reflections”, “50 years in pursuit of the light”, “Practical suggestions in photography”, “Time in the World” and “In the World” He has personal photo albums and books called “human states”. For more than fifteen years, he has been writing comparative articles on composition and lighting techniques in the "Photography Magazine". 'LIGHT' in photography is indispensable for İbrahim Zaman. That's why his close friends nicknamed him the LORD OF LIGHT. He is still a jury member in international and national competitions. İbrahim Zaman is an HONOR MEMBER OF IFSAK, BUFSAD, GEFSAD, SILLE ART SARAYI, KUFSAD, GİFSAD, TRAVELERS' CLUB, SAGUSAD, BASAF, AND PHOTOMETERS. ALSO, HE WAS GIVEN THE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2012 AWARDS BY KUFSAD AND İIFSAK.
